Newquay St Piran's Children's Page

Newquay St Piran's Day Festival sees Newquay Museum organising children's activities with Newquay Library, such as colouring in flags and St Piran's pictures. Also, some activities out and about in Newquay and in the home, perhaps involving Mum and Dad. Some of these are also available online.

Download a flag and print it and then colour it in, you only need to use a black crayon. take a photo and send it to us of you with your flag or perhaps of it in your window as part of the "Flying a Flag for St Piran". We would love to share this to show you supporting Cornwall's St Piran's Day celebrations.

If you download a drawing of St Piran on his millstone, floating to Cornwall, you can colour this in as many and what colours you like. You might like to add in the box above St Piran's head what he might have been thinking to himself as he came in sight of the Cornish shore at Perranporth. You could pretend this is a newspaper front page. What would you put as the title? Write this in at the space at top of the page.

Take a photo of your picture, you can be holding it if you like and we will include it in an online gallery of St Piran pictures in Newquay Museum.

Check out the ideas from Newquay Library cooking and searching for places and things throughout Newquay or perhaps design a postcard for St Piran's which includes Newquay themes or views.

Take some photos of your family doing some of these St Piran's ideas that we can share on the website and on social media

Send them to: associationcornishheritage@gmail.com
